Refund Policy

No Cash Refunds — All Sales Are Final

All credit purchases on 7 Color Box LLP’s platform are final and non-refundable. Credits have no cash value and cannot, under any circumstance, be converted to or redeemed for Indian Rupees or any other currency. By purchasing credits, you unconditionally agree to this policy.

1. Why We Have a No-Refund Policy

7 Color Box delivers digital services — web development, graphic design, and digital marketing. By their nature, digital services consume real labour, tools, and infrastructure resources the moment work begins. Unlike physical goods, completed digital work cannot be “returned”.

Credits purchased on our platform represent a pre-committed service capacity. Our pricing (1 credit = ₹150) already reflects a significant discount over project-by-project agency rates. This discount is made possible precisely because of the prepaid, commit-and-consume credit model.

This no-cash-refund policy is consistent with standard practices for prepaid digital service contracts and is permitted under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 when the terms are clearly disclosed before purchase, which they are — on our pricing page, in the checkout flow, and in these Terms.

2. What Happens to Credits When a Task Is Cancelled

Although cash refunds are never issued, unused credits are protected under our escrow model:

If your task has not yet been assigned to a team member and the SLA timer has not started, you may cancel via the client portal. 100% of the escrowed credits are immediately returned to your credit wallet.

⚙️In ProgressPartial credit return (discretionary)

Once a task is actively in production, cancellation requires contacting support. A partial credit return may be issued at our sole discretion based on the proportion of work already completed and delivered. This partial return is to your credit wallet, never as cash.

Review / CompletedNo return

Once a deliverable has been submitted for client review or the task is marked complete, escrowed credits are fully consumed. No credit return or cash refund is available.

3. Credit Expiry and Account Closure

  • Active accounts: Credits do not expire while your account is in good standing.
  • Inactive accounts: If your account remains completely inactive (no login, no task) for more than 24 consecutive months, we may deactivate the account and forfeit unused credits after giving 90 days’ written notice to your registered email.
  • Account closure by client: If you choose to close your account, any remaining credit balance is forfeited. We strongly recommend exhausting your credit balance before requesting account deletion.
  • Account termination by 7 Color Box: If your account is terminated for violation of our Terms of Service (e.g., prohibited conduct, fraudulent chargebacks), all remaining credits are forfeited without compensation.

4. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Initiating an unauthorised chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider for a credit purchase constitutes a breach of these Terms. In such cases:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation.
  • All credit balance and active tasks will be frozen.
  • We reserve the right to recover the disputed amount plus a dispute handling fee of ₹2,000 per incident.
  • Confirmed fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to relevant authorities under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at contact@7colorbox.com before filing a dispute. We investigate all billing concerns promptly and will issue a credit wallet adjustment if we determine an error occurred.

5. SLA Breach Compensation

If 7 Color Box fails to deliver within the committed SLA for your task (excluding delays caused by incomplete brief, client non-response, or force majeure), you are entitled to a credit compensation as follows:

SLA compensation is credit-only — it is not payable as cash. To claim SLA compensation, raise a support ticket within 7 days of the delayed delivery.
